Ice-Watch is best known for its colorful synthetic cases and straps. Consequently, the vast majority (at least 80%) of Ice-Watch straps are made from comfortable, durable silicone rubber. Some of these straps feature an integrated case-and-strap design, meaning the strap and case are molded from a single piece of silicone. To change the strap, the entire watch movement must be transferred to the new unit. We recommend having a watchmaker handle this rather than doing it yourself. If you are looking for this type of strap, check whether your old watch case has a snap-on or screw-down case back, as these are not interchangeable. Straps for smartwatches usually feature a quick-release mechanism, while straps for standard watches attach to the case using spring bars.
