   love this watch! a big fan of auto divers, esp 60s/70s, and this reedition is remarkably accurate to the originals (the original had a day-date, but that difference doesn't detract at all). the color of this watch bears little resemblance to the shockingly powerful orange on the actual watch...and that's a wonderful surprise. the bezel is tight, perfectly aligned (unlike those of another brand of diver watch we all probably know), and the lume great. on the wrist there's a huge quality feel to the piece, mainly because the quality and finish is all top of the charts. the movement is impressive besides not hackable, although if you turn the crown slightly back it is an old school hack for other non-hacking watches that works to stall the seconds hand...although my purchase of this watch DOES have a hacking movement. the 821D Miyota in this does have some later versions that do hack and i apparently got one of those, but i bought anyway thinking it wouldn't be, ready to use the 'hack' explained above. they all hand wind. can't fine enough great to say about this, including the super retro boxed crystal. this is one of the best watch purchased i have ever made, and am extremely happy.

   • i love everything. the one thing i'd have hoped is they'd have used a hacking movement (this does hand wind), but my watch does hack. however, not all of these 821D Miyota movements do hack. the later ones do, but i bought the watch not thinking it would, so it's still a great purchase even without hacking.
